Today, if you are looking for a good movie to watch, you don’t always have to pay for it. The increase in ad -supported streaming has made it easier than ever to access old favorites, and that includes Youtube, which has its own running catalog with free movies that flow every month.
In July, it is a particularly good month for fans of the 90’s cinema, with a bunch of classics from the decade that flows free right now (we chose our favorites, but “Tank Girl”, “Edward Scissorhands”, “Buffy The Vampire Slayer,” “” Encino Man “and” State enemy “is also free on Youtube in month).

Iron Giant (1999)

Ever After (1998)
Super sweet and fearless, “ever after” is the choice if you are looking for a mood -enhancing blast of sniffy. A reimagining of the cinderella fairytale, “ever after” Drops the fantasy elements and drops the viewer into renaissance france, where the Kindly Danielle de Barbarc (Drew Barrymore) has been been forced into a life of servitude and cruel hust Course, She Catches the Eye of the Prince of France (Dougray Scott). There is no Fairy Godmother – instead Danielle gets some help from Leonardo da Vinci – and one of the step sisters is almost as sweet as Danielle himself, but all the changes “ever after” make to the familiar story just make it more delightful.
Point Break (1991)
If it is summer, it must be time for “Point Break”, Kathryn Bigelow’s salt water soaked Heist thriller about a bank-robbing surf group and the hot young police who infiltrate them. Patrick Swayze is Megawatt Charming as Bodhi, the tanned titanium for the unexpected thieves who look up a band with Johnny Utah (Keanu Reeves), aware that his new friend is an undercover federal agent. Sexy, Summer Police-and-Robbare discovers, with a signature West Coast Surf Bro Energy completely his own. Bonus points for excellent use of Lori Petty.
Uptown Girls (2003)
One of the big major differences between the audience and critical reaction belongs to “Uptown girls”, the early 2000s drama that was completely universally panned at the release and has since been a loved one of the age in its era. The late, beautiful Brittany Murphy stars like a privileged rock heir who fall at difficult times after her boss steals his father’s remaining money after his death. To get by, Free-Wheeling Molly (Murphy) takes the thankless job that Nanny to an ultra-net 8-year-old, Ray (Dakota Fanning). The two look up a strange, sometimes directly spotted bond that gives “uptown girls” their sore-not-treakly heart. In addition, it has one of the captivating false film songs through the ages (Well, yes, yes, sheets of Egyptian cotton).
Princess (2022)
The latest film on this list, “The Princess” debuted as a Hulu exclusive 2022 and was Away from the service in 2023 When Streamers began to reach their exaggerated original content. It is a stupid, set of heavy watch for those who may want something a little light and action -packed this weekend.
The Truman Show (1998)
If you are looking for something a little more existence and praised, “The Truman Show” may be more of your speed. The Oscar-nominated drama from the legendary Australian director Peter Weir (“The Year of Living Dangerous”) plays Jim Carrey as Truman Burbank, a man who slowly begins to realize that everything about his life is false-all part of a trained TV show. In “The Truman Show” you see what it is for a movie to really be ahead of its time and confront aspects of the human experience that very quickly became definitive for life in the 21st century and thereafter. (Vanity Fair summarized the feeling quite briefly several years ago with their Excellent anniversary heading: “20 years later all the Truman -Show”) is impossible to exaggerate how much this movie absolutely Berged People when it was released, but it is one of the rare who hits even harder with the living context for what really happened the next.
