In the middle of a broader call to the film industry to return to their hometown after the devastating fire fires earlier this month, the American film market returns to Los Angeles, just a year after dating Southern California for Las Vegas.
AFM 2025 will take place at Fairmont Century Plaza in Century City from November 11 to 16.

Prewitt, President and CEO of Independent Film & Television Alliance, who organizes the event, and chairman Clay Epstein, partly said, “our return to LA is of special importance in the aftermath of the latest devastating fires. It will be gratifying to gather as colleagues here again, where AFM began, and by doing so to participate in the rebuilding of the city, which is an important hub in our industry. “

AFM, perhaps the largest US-based market for production/acquisitions, financing, distribution and sales in the independent film and television industry, was previously held in Santa Monica, starting with the start in 1981.
