The restoration is an exclusive Alo moves reset at Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal took place April 3-5, 2025, but I received an early preview. Since this was my first wellness trip, I was not entirely sure what to expect. Although I have been working with fitness and wellness for almost a decade, most of my self-care activities are limited to an hour and top one day. I contacted this experience as if I was attending a wellness bootcamp and spent a block of concentrated time to focus on myself. I was aware that I could not completely form new habits, which could take 66 days to be installedBut I thought it was enough time to let me clear my head and focus on being the best version of myself, as cheesy as it sounds, and plan how I take it into my ordinary life as a working mom with two toddlers .

One of my first little victories on the retreat was journal Without immediately turning it into a to-do list. Each time I put the pen on paper to reflect, I remember the 45 things that need my attention as soon as possible: assignments I need to complete, what handbag I put in my house keys and an e -mail I need to answer are some of the recurring ones. The retreat was anchored by daily training trails led by Jade Smith and Bianca MelasThe trainers from the online program. I love the creative way she programs the training and how she manages to get a burn in just 30 minutes. She is a coach that I keep coming back to and alo let me know that she 21-day Pilates Strong The training plan has a completed speed of 84 percent, so I know I stand with a crowd in her fan club.
The strength’s workout, led by Smith, was intense yet funny: think a lower body burn on a boat while Election. It was equal parts humble and incredibly inspiring. My glutes were the torches from the leg lifts but I was so grateful to be in this beautiful situation that I thought I would just continue. It was a perfect balance between an effective workout followed by enjoying the view from the boat.

When it comes to the 8,000 steps per day, normally, this would be a challenge for me. Since I work from home, my bill is usually a quarter of it. But the resort is on an expansive 24 acre, which made it hit this mileage for a breeze. I was on average over 10,000 steps per day. One of my favorite activities was to walk along the beach, which never felt busy even though the hotel had capacity. The day we went on an excursion to hike, I took 20,000 steps and really put this Gray Onesie To the test (spoiler: didn’t show as much sweat as I expected).

To balance all movement, there were opportunities to relax. My room had its very own Infinity pool, which I never wanted to leave. Yes, everything about this trip was very elevated but sitting in the Infinity pool was top aesthetic, especially with the opportunity to add a floating breakfast to Nosh on while staring into the sea.
My experience also included a cocoa ceremony, which was meditative, although my favorite wellness component was SPA. The quality of a hotel spa is always a factor for me when I travel and this one did not disappoint. I tested the awakening lunar treatment which was 110 minutes of pure happiness. It started with a foot massage followed by a pliers and eucalyptus salt scrub, then a revival pliers and deep tissue massage which was just the right pressure. It was total relaxation. I would go back to this resort just for the spa experience.

What to think about if the restore, alo moves retreat
While I liked every opportunity to walk around the resort, it is quite spread and took me a day to feel sure to navigate it. Chauffeured wagons can be taken around the property, coordinated by the incredibly attentive staff, if you are someone who I who easily get lost.

The exercises can be modified for all levels but are best suited for someone who has experience of strength or pilates and is looking for a moderate for challenging training experience.
