Door brought his high-energy “in your fantasy” world tour to LA last weekend at BMO Stadium-a very different show, absent big stage sets and special effects, with more emphasis on their song and choreography, plus solo performances. A band on stage is added to the stripped-down feeling when the members of Ateez interacted a lot with the enthusiastic crowd-and Hongjoong, Seonghwa, Yunho, Yeosang, San, Mingi, Wooyoung and Jongho had fun with each other. Hit singles “In Your Fantasy” and “Lemon Drop” were among other highlights in the almost three hours, well the show that was met with noise of approval by Atiny (Atez fandom).
Hongjoong, Seonghwa, Yunho and San talk about their new music and tour:
What was the impact behind your new music?
Hongjoong: Many different influences shaped this new music. From our personal experiences and feelings to the energy we felt from fans on tour or from fans stories and the inspiration we got from new places we visited, everything played a role. Musically, we also challenged ourselves to break out of our usual boundaries and find a balance between different moods and sounds. I think the result is something that still feels true to Ateez, while providing a new emotional perspective.

Can you talk about the sound of “in your fantasy” and what was the impact behind the music video?
Seonghwa: “In Your Fantasy” explores another sonical direction for atez. Instead of our usual explosive beats, we focused on a more groovy and sensual rhythm to create a seductive and captivating mood. The sound is smooth but still intense and lets the feeling drive the energy. When it comes to the music video, the visual atmosphere expands, with an elegant concept and Mörkan film. We wanted it to feel like crossing the line between imagination and reality, where visual and music draws you into a mysterious and fantasy world.
What were some of the best parts of your world tour?
Yunho: Every part of our world trips is special, but the most memorable moments were always when we got to connect directly to the fans; Sing together, exchange energy and lock your eyes from the stage. Each city had its own vibe, and it made every show feel like a whole new experience. The surprise fan events or fun codes especially left a strong impression and reminded us of how deep we are loved and supported all over the world.
What do you want to say to your Los Angeles fans?
San: Our fans in Los Angeles always give us such special energy. Your passion, your cheer and how you like our performances, it really gives us strength. I am so happy that we can perform for you again, and I want to stick to these moments for a long time.
We continue to give back with fantastic scenes and music. We love you!
