If you just come around to upgrade your Stanley in favor of one LightI have bad news for you – there is already another Water bottle Trends. The brand is named Bink and it is Sweeping Gustok as the new “IT girl” for hydration.
Bink offers silicone -coated glass bottles in five sizes, all from Large bottle – 36 ounces ($ 42) to Child bottle – 10 grams ($ 21). Not to speak, they come in fun colors like matching, cotton-Candy and bubblegum. What is nice about these bottles is that there is a glass of “window” on the page where you can see how much you drink – plus there are hydration markers from 8 to 14 so you can keep track of how much you consume.
While I am here for everything that gets people Drink more waterI can’t help but wonder why we as a social cycle through water bottles faster than I can even ask this question. The first really popular water bottles I remember were from Nalgene and Camelbak – I couldn’t walk around my college campus without seeing them Everywhere. So like all 18-year-olds who tried to fit into a new environment, I bought a Camelbak. It served me well to Hydro bottle and Yetis became all the rage. I traded plastic for stainless steel in the form of a 40-ounce hydro bottle and loved how cold it kept my water.
Shortly after, Stanley’s was everywhere. My intention was to buy the cool new water bottle. But I couldn’t motivate anything so similar to my hydro bottle just to be on a trend. There was literally nothing wrong with my hydro bottle, so I stayed strong. Just when I thought Stanley’s was here to stay, Owala showed out of nowhere. People immediately jumped the ship in favor of Owala and tried how you have the opportunity to drink through a straw or A beep and it does not leak.
Now we are here with Bink. After Target started selling the brand in December 2024, the bottles became a “go-to” waterflane cream recommendation on social media and it shows no signs of slowing down.
“I never thought a water bottle could change my life, but this one has completely,” says a Tiktok user In a video About Bink. “Not only is she fantastic and wonderful, but I drink so much more water because of it.”
It should not surprise that the reusable water bottle market in the United States is expected to grow from $ 2.2 billion 2023 to $ 3.4 billion 2033. But it is a bit (okay, very) ironically that the point of a reusable water bottle is that it is supposed to be an antidote to consumption – but new reusable bottles are constantly rolled out and People collect dozens of them.
Falling victim to marketing happens to the best of us (guilty!), But a water bottle is simply a vehicle to keep you hydrated. We do not need to treat it as a status symbol. I, for one, will drink out of my og hydro bottle for many years to come.
