The abundance of solo albums from Blackpink Members do not hold the K-Pop Quartet from coming back together to play stadions. This summer, the group will play a “limited” driving of large -scale shows in 10 cities around the world, including North American stops in LA. New York, Chicago and Toronto, it was announced Wednesday.
The tour starts with two dates in Seoul, South Korea on July 5-6, then moves to North America with exhibitions at LA’s Sofi Stadium on July 12, Chicagos Soldier Field Stadium on July 18, Torontos Rogers Stadium on July 22 and New York’s Citi Field July 26th.
At the beginning of August, the tour moves to Europe for four more dates. Blackpink will perform in Paris on August 2, Milan on August 6 and Barcelona on August 9 and closes on London’s Wembley Stadium on August 15.
Tickets are sold on February 27 at Livenation.com, with times on sales on the date that varies after the market.
This marks an unusually low number of shows for such a great deal, which may be an indication that the four members – Jissoo, Jenny, Rose and Lisa – are still mainly focused on their solo career this year, even though, as always with Tour – announcements of this species weave the possibility that additional dates are added large.
