The new Netflix competition series ”Build the band“Is dedicated to the hospitality Liam PayneWho Died in October. In the premiere episode of the series honors host AJ McLean One Direction member, which will make his first posthumous look in later sections (will arrive next week).
“When we met to film” Building the Band “, we never imagined that we would soon say goodbye to our friend Liam Payne,” McLean said at the beginning of the episode. “Liam is a guest judge in later episodes, and through his presence we see his deep love for music and his unmatched commitment to help others find his voice. It is through the spirit that we devote this series to Liam and his family.”
The late star served as a guest judge together with Kelly Rowland and Nicole Scherzinger. Payne started filming its scenes for “Building the band” in the summer of 2024, with filming in August, according to Deadline.
In an interview with Access to HollywoodScherzinger said she is “happy for everyone to see Liam Shine” on the show. “I know he was in his happy place.”
“Building the band” is a reality show and singing competition show that prioritizes personal chemistry between the band members. The singers talk to each other through a wall-in style with Netflix dating series, “Love is Blind”-until they finally meet face to face and grow and test their musical compatibility connection.
The first four episodes of “Building the Band” are available to stream now. Three more will be released on July 16 and the last set of section will premiere on July 23.
