A jury in Los Angeles has cleared Cardi b of abuse accusations from a security guard who originally suited her for $ 24 million over the alleged attack, Police stone Reports.
Eani Ellis claimed that the Grammy-winning rapper cut her face with her fingernail outside a pediatrician’s office in 2018. The trial attracted national attention and generated many viral memes, thanks to Cardi’s behavior during the procedure, including, but not limited to, her fiery single-lined and bold fashion election on the stand and outside it.
Cardi claimed that Ellis followed her and filmed her at the doctor’s office without her permission, which led to the couple entering an heated “debate”, as she described it. The rapper was pregnant at that time.
In his original complaint, Ellis Cardi accused of attacking her, spit on her and used “rattle” against her. She also claims that the alleged change and Cardi’s “celebrity status” got her fired. When the trial began last week, Elli’s lawyer Ron Rosen Janfaza confirmed that his client had lost claims that she was dismissed.
Janfaza also said that Ellis had stopped claiming $ 24 million and sought compensation for his medical expenses with $ 250,000.
“She was beaten. She was injured. She was attacked and beaten by Cardi B, and Cardi B had to pay for it,” Janfaza said according to the court on Tuesday.
While he was on the testimony, Ellis said she called Cardi’s name when she saw her at the medical office that day. She claimed that she did not talk to anyone on her phone and never recorded the rapper.
“She was extremely upset,” Ellis testified. “She put her finger in my face. I was deeply traumatized about what happened.”
On Cardi’s side, she accused Ellis of “invading” her integrity. “Now we are like breasts to the chest,” she said. “I think for myself, this girl is big. She has big black boots on. I am, damn, what the hell am I going to do now? She is literally right in my face, who, on my chest, and we argue, I tell her to back up. And she does not back up.”
