Charli XCX brought her “Brat” tour to Busser Together with many of the guests she has had on the album (and on stage) during the ten months since she launched the album: Billie EarthLorde and Troye Sivan – and in an uncharactory sentimental type Montage on the giant video screens in the exhibition, she annoys that even if the summer is long ago, she never wants “Brat summer” to be over.
The veteran singer-songwriter producer dropped a coy tip during the days before the festival, and used road-to-coachella-billboard tradition to tease the appearance by taking out a sign in the brand Bilious Shade of Light Green presented on the Grammy winning. Charli’s performance was strong but basically the same set she has toured since her joint “sweat” tour with Sivan last fall, albeit with not only him (for “talk talk”) but also a Khaki -clad Lorde (who would also join her on stage in New York in October for “Girl, so confusing”) and eilish and eilish As usual, however, Charli was on stage solo for most of the night, and the body of the songs with its brand unusually violent dance: hard fifty pumps and hair spraying, dry-shift and aggressive twist on the stage floor.

Realistically, “Brat Summer” was probably at least until the fall, as she has a brace of the US area date after Coachella and will then perform at European festivals all summer.
