Charlize Theron revealed on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast Wednesday that after she became public with allegations of sexual harassment against a named director in 2019, the man who harassed her in an attempt to explain his actions: “Classic, right?” Theron said.
“He heard me tell the story, and he knew it was about him,” told the Oscar -winning actress and “The Old Guard 2” star Alex Cooper. “He wrote me a pretend letter trying to explain his behavior and how I must have misunderstood it.”
The actress added that “he began to panic” and “got a little nervous for a while there.”
There First talked about the experience of early career During a performance 2019 at “The Howard Stern Show”, where the named director urged her to come to her home on a Saturday night for an audition, the first she ever attended for her acting career.
When she arrived, Theron said that the director opened the door with pajamas bottoms and continued to interrupt her to hold a conversation during what would be her audition. At one point he placed his hand on his knee.
“The little voice inside me definitely said:” This is not true, “said Theron about the event.” But then the other voice says in me, ‘Well, I don’t know. Maybe that’s right. ”
At “Call Her Daddy”, Theron also explained her reasons to continue not to reveal the name of the director who she said sexually harassed her at the audition.

“I’ve never said his name to honestly, I don’t want the story to be about him,” she said. “It’s not because I protect him or anything, but he got a little nervous.”
She said he was nervous because he knew the event she was discussing was about him and he knows she would be sincere about his identity if she was ever asked about it.
“He was waiting for me,” said Theron. “And I just realized that I won’t even say your name because you know you are the foam. You know it is you and if anyone ever asked me about him, I would be completely honest. And he knows it. And I like he must be in a hot place. He doesn’t know when it will come. I’m pretty much more.”
