Everyone has the one food delivery -the standard for me, and for me it is Doordash. As a Chase Sapphire Reserve card holder (lonely lounger is reason enough to apply, imo), I get a free DOordash Dashpass membership ($ 10/month or $ 96/year) included in my annual fee. If you are not familiar, Dashpass Deaordash’s subscription service that refrains from delivery fees and reduces the service fees on legitimate orders – which is exactly why I have ordered exclusively through the app recently. (These fees really sum.)
But even before Chase Perk I was a paying Dashpass member for if you order as often as I do, the savings are worth every cent. In front, I break down everything to know about it – and possibly activate your next sushi suction in the process.
If Doordash’s Dashpass membership
- Dash Pass is a Doordash membership that costs $ 9.99/month or $ 96/year.

- It also gives you lower service fees for qualified purchases.
- The brand offers one 30-day free sample.
What I like with Doordash’s Dashpass membership
My commitment to food delivery tends to come in waves, and right now it is at a maximum time. I recently moved into a new house with my husband and got a baby, a combination that makes me open the app for dinner more often than I would like to admit. But honestly, I can justify it. It is a way with low effort to try new restaurants in our area when we can’t get out, and it turns into a baby -friendly date evening in our own living room At nights when leaving the house feels impossible (read: often). Only the other night we ordered a full sushi spread It was so good, I’m tempted to get it again tonight when I write this. And even if we ordered one pulp Of rollers, the price felt completely fair, especially when Dashpass disconnected the delivery fee of $ 8.99 and lowering my order of $ 9.81 service charge. I love to see the app show exactly what I save with membership. That transparency makes it feel extra worth it.
What to think about about Doordash’s Dashpass membership
As a proud dashpass-hanged in my current order-heavy era, I know I’m biased. So I sanitized myself at Reddit (my favorite place for opinions without fluff), and consensus is quite clear: Dashpass is worth it if you already order a lot. Most people say that math starts working around three or more orders per month because $ 0 delivery plus reduced service fees can compensate for membership. I’m easy on an order this week, so I’m stuck in the “worth it” camp. If you order less, skip it for now and visit when you are in your own order.
