Ellen Pompeo showed up on the “Jennifer Hudson Show” and reminded her relationship with Taylor Swift. The music icon called famous one of her cats after Pompeo’s “Grey’s Anatomy” character Meredith Gray. Pompeo then appeared in Swift’s “Bad Blood” music video along with a variety of A -list stars. The actor said that Swift once wrote her a “big old check” for charity just from a simple question.

“At that time, (Make Chris Ivery) and I, we do a lot of volunteer work for the Los Angeles children’s hospital here,” Pompeo said. “They have a fantastic program on children where they make music for the children in Nicu. For the parents who have to go to work all day and they can’t be with the children, they record their voices that sing a nursery or tell them stories and they play it for the children during the day when the parents can not be there. The children answer it and it makes their outcomes more positive.”

“It’s a really nice program, but they need money to run it,” Pompeo added. “I asked Taylor,“ Can you write a big old check for kids? “And she knew me all but 20 minutes and that girl wrote me the biggest control without blinking an eye.”

Pompeo told Hudson that she only spent “an hour or two” on the set of Swift’s “Bad Blood” music video, where she filmed a scene with “Law & Order: SVU” Favorite Mariska Hargitay. Swift owned another cat named after Hargiteay’s TV character, Olivia Benson. Pompeo said to film the music video “was the easiest.”

Pompeo has made the press rounds support for its Hulu -TV drama “Good American Family.” See her full interview on the Jennifer Hudson show in the video below.
