Hailee Steinfeld wants you to get high. . . We mean, HY – as in, Nexxus’s New Hy Volume Collection. On the 22nd story of the Peninsula Hotel in NYC, Steinfeld was quite high, energetically. Dressed in a purple sweater to match the color of the product package with one Jumpball The actor was divided aside and seemed to float. (The fluffy, cotton -making clouds scattered around her as decoration really helped.)
There are some likely sources behind Steinfeld’s essential energy. First, she has built up quite tolerance to the star, after being in the entertainment scene since 14 with films such as “True Grit”, “The Edge of 17” and “Dickinson.” Two, she will soon marry Buffalo Bill’s Quarterback Josh Allen, who is really responsible for some of the glow she has gone on. Another thing that helps her feel easily like air right now? Disconnect.
“I’ve really had to work on disconnecting and resting,” she says. “It goes hand in hand with all other parts of my wellness routine.” As a self -appointed “workhorse” and a constantly evolving schedule, she tries to get time for herself when possible. “I have become really good at accepting about everything I have at one moment is two minutes, I take it and take advantage of most.”
When she has only a few minutes, it means coming out or calling a loved one (although it is a bonus when she can acclaim and do both at the same time). Otherwise, her morning routine plays a big role in keeping her grounded. She loves slow mornings. “I don’t love getting up early to exercise, but I love to challenge my mind and my body in some way, somehow, every day. It’s not negotiable.” Her goal is at least 15 minutes. “It really changes my whole mood; I will feel better about myself. I will feel charged and ready to take another day.”
While she follows the “smaller is more” the approach to her wellness habits – you won’t see her publish anything “5-to-9 before my 9-5 Videos “Here – Her beauty routine are really where things get playful. It is clear in the (cheeky) clip that she created for the Nexxus Hy Volume collection, consisting of HY-VOLYM weightless lifting shampoo, conditioner and styling foam ($ 48 for the set). “This campaign is about going as big and boldly as possible with your hair, but also matching your level of confidence to the same volume.”
In the video, Steinfeld is struggling around with a greater blowout than life competing with Dolly Parton and Cindy Crawford. “You get a little crazy with your wind dryer and a few rolls, and magic hands,” she says.
This partnership with the brand for the pharmacy has been for a long time. “Nexxus has been in my life in and around my life for how it feels forever,” she says. Like many of us, she grew up with Nexxus shampoo and conditioner. Although much has changed since then, her love for the brand is unmatched.
As large as her style in the “Get Hy” campaign was, it is quite the deviation from the look she has at the time of our interview. Steinfeld’s long hair is chopped in a short haircut. “Cutting my hair was big on the board for ‘could-make-wanna-do-but-maybe-not-I-screamed,” she says, until finally she said, “Ok, let’s just do it.”
No matter what appearance she is experimenting with at a given moment, she always has the same beauty advice in the back of the mind: embrace your natural beauty. Is it a little grainish? Yes, but she feels that it is the best way to reach inner and external confidence. “Letting your inner beauty shine through and find trust within yourself will make all makeups and hairstyles just as much greater,” she says.
But who says you can’t embrace what you were born with with A little color cosmetics – which is exactly what she likes to do with the beauty brands on her face. As a less known hack, Steinfeld loves to pull them over with eyeliner or lip feed (whatever she has at hand) to make sure they are not hidden from vision when we wear heavier makeup.
You are likely to discover lots of fan favorites in Steinfeld’s beauty routine. Every morning and night she washing her face with Christie Kidd Clean Natural Facial Cleanser ($ 34). “It has been tried and true; it only gets all my makeup, makes me go to bed with the naked face that feels clean.” Other favorites include Kosa’s concealer ($ 32), Armani eyes to kill mascara ($ 35), Patrick take blush ($ 38) “in almost any shadow because they are all perfection,” and Make up for ever whos Walnut Lip Liner ($ 24). Although not an everyday thing, she has recently entered LED -lighting therapy After committing a mask. “I’ve used the little handheld thing forever, which I love, but I’m very excited to put on that mask,” she says.
“Life will take you down on roads that you have planned, have not planned, want to go down, do not want to go down, but just embrace it for everything it is and be kind to yourself all the time.”
There are always three items in her bag all the time: a spooly to brush her brows, a dry shampoo in travel and Neutrogena Collagen Bank SPF ($ 19) – Another brand she has collaborated with before.
Everything said, there is one thing that is more effective and potent than any morning routine or beauty product, and it is prioritizing mental health. “I love to work; it goes in my family, it is in my blood. I am so grateful that I can do something that I love as much that really does not feel like work so much of the time,” she says. “But because it is something that I care so deeply and is so easy to just get stuck in.”
Her body usually signals to her that it is time to take a break. “I have learned so much about myself and my boundaries and what makes me really happy.” Her biggest tips, whether you are juggling with a jammingly Hollywood schedule or a traditional 9-5, is to learn how to prioritize what is the most important thing for you and to have patience-with yourself and life. “Life will take you down on roads that you have planned, have not planned, want to go down, do not want to go down, but just embrace it for everything it is and be kind to yourself all the time.”
