‘Heartstopper’ finally with a movie after 3 seasons on Netflix


All good things must come to an end – including “Heartstopper,” Who will unpack Nick and Charlie’s love story with a movie post after three seasons on Netflix.

The film will be written by the series creator Alice Oseman and will start Kit Connor and Joe Locke, Streamer announced on Tuesday. It will start filming this summer with director Wash Westmoreland.

I can’t wait to get this story to a magical conclusion.”

An adaptation of the author’s upcoming sixth and last “Heartstopper” Graphic novel, Netflix teased from the film: “After Season 3, the couple is inseparable. But with Nick preparing to leave for the university and Charlie who find new independence in school, the reality in a long distance relationship is also to weigh on them. Doubt and their relationship, and their relationship faces the greatest challenge.”

Oseman will also serve as an executive producer, together with Patrick Walters, Iain Canning, Emile Sherman, Euro Lyn, Locke and Connor. Further casting will be announced in the future.

The upcoming age series premiered in April 2022 and stars William Gao, Yasmin Finney, Tobie Donovan, Jenny Walser, Corinna Brown, Kizzy Edgell, Rhea Norwood, Leila Khan and Sebastian Croft.

All three seasons of “Heartstopper” are available to stream on Netflix.
