Global Korean pop star Heyoon Dives into the world of electronic music with its latest single “Addicted”, a deep house track that marks a significant creative development for the artist.
The base -driven song represents Heyoon’s most practical creative effort so far, with the singer who takes the lead on both writing and composing tasks while maintaining a prominent role throughout the production process. It is mixed by engineer Andrew Wuepper, whose CV includes work with Frank Ocean, Rihanna and Beyoncé, and is mastered by Dale Becker, known for his work with Billie Eilish, Sza and Doja Cat.
“Dependent” weaves a story that is anchored in strap -sleep, after a mysterious dream unit that attracts people with hypnotic movement. The concept investigates how dreamers fall into cycles of sleepless obsession and chases the figure over dreams in an endless trans. Through this surrealistic frame, Heyoon examines themes for seduction, abuse, ecstasy and destruction.
Release marks heyoon’s third single under Universal music Korea, after her solo debut “Pivot” with Armani White, and her second effort “ASAP.”
After five years with the Global Pop Group Now United, Heyoon’s transition to Solo Artistry comes, where she built a reputation through sold -out stadium trips over more than 30 countries and contributed to over 100 singles and music videos. Growing up in South Korea and now shared the time between Seoul and Los Angeles, the artist has expanded his influence in addition to music to philanthropy and fashion.
