I tried laser layer: see mine before and after photos

When I arrived, Mueller sat with me and asked about my skin and what I would like to treat: my sunspots, rosacea and overall boredom. After we completed my treatment plan, she applied a stunning gel on my face and neck, which I left for 30 minutes before I washed.

After assessing the current state of my skin and my goals, my medical aesthetic, Kayla Rudduck, prescribed, a combination of broadband lights, Vivace, Moxi and a chemical shell.

We started with broadband lights (BBL), which helps to direct pigmentation (which is not for all skin tones and poses risks of dark skin tones). She first treated the areas with more dark spots, including the sun spots around my eyes, then went all over my face and neck. The directed treatment areas damaged a bit, such as someone snapping a rubber band on my skin, but the overall treatment felt more manageable.

The next step was Vivace Radio frequency micronedwhich emits heat through several skin layers to stimulate collagen and help treat fine lines and wrinkles. This step most damaged – it felt like sharp pins all over the face.

The final laser was Moxi -laserthat heats the underlying skin layers to help with cellular turnover and collagen production. This was the least painful of all three and felt like “an angry cat that licked my face”, as Rudduck described it.

Immediately after the treatment, my face was pretty red, but it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. But I felt a little warm. Throughout the treatment, an employed cold air blew on the face, and they gave me ice pack to take home. At the end of the evening, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that my face did not hurt and I did not feel the need to take any ibuprofen or ice my face anymore.

Eight days after the treatment, my skin was mainly healed, except a couple of spots on the nose and neck. For the healing areas, however, I noticed a healthy glow that I had not seen in a long time.

It took about three weeks for my skin to heal completely, and I couldn’t be happier with my results. Instead of recovering from three separate treatments, I was one and clear. Not only was my skin glowing, but the overall structure was much smoother and less uneven – as if I had a blur filter on IRL. The sun discovers around my eyes was less noticeable, and the redness in my cheeks dropped a little. Although this is not the most pain -free or affordable treatment, I would definitely do it again.
