Jennie has shared her new Doechii-function single, “Extral”, the third single from the previous coming “Ruby“LP, March 7. The track mixes elements in Doechii’s elegant hip-hop beats with Jennie’s signature pop sound.
In a music video directed by Lyrical Lemonade (Cole Bennett), Jennie and Doechii look elegant, sporty white pants when they make up: “Stir my ladies this, ladies run this?” The song was produced by them Jointz, who is best known for their work with Christina Aguilera, Brandy, Kanye West, and recently, documents including NCT 127, Aespa and other k -pop stars.
Jennie is a member of K-Pop Powerhouse Blackpink and is prepared to make his debut as a solo artist with “Ruby”-a 15-track album with further collaborations with Childish Gambino, Dua Lipa, Dominic Fike, FKJ and Kali Uchis.
“Extral” is the third single released from Jennie’s debut album, her first edition under her own odd Atelier label, in collaboration with Columbia Records. She previously shared the solo track, “Mantra”, in October, and “Love Mangover” with Fike in January.
Jennie will soon be on its way as part of Blackpink for the Quartet’s limited international tour. This summer, the group will play large -scale shows in 10 cities around the world, including North American stops in LA. New York, Chicago and Toronto.
The tour starts with two dates in Seoul, South Korea on July 5-6, then moves to North America with exhibitions at LA’s Sofi Stadium on July 12, Chicagos Soldier Field Stadium on July 18, Torontos Rogers Stadium on July 22 and New York’s Citi Field July 26th.
