“Jurassic World Rebirth” marks the next chapter in the “Jurassic” franchise and as such it gives many new faces with it.
By taking place years after the events in the “Jurassic World Dominion”, the Gareth Edwards film takes a new group of people to an island near the equator, where dinosaurs roam freely and travel is explicitly prohibited. There they intend to collect samples from different species to help promote medical research.
Now it is obviously a “Jurassic World” movie, so things go off the rails pretty quickly. But here is who you need to know.
Zora Bennett (Scarlett Johansson)
Zora is a kind of mercenar, who specializes in acquiring certain items. She is played by Marvel Alumn Scarlett Johansson, who is of course also known for films such as “Lost in Translation”, “Marriage Story”, “Jojo Rabbit” and a tonne more.
Dr. Henry Loomis (Jonathan Bailey)
Dr. Henry Loomis is an expert on dinosaurs, led the task of helping them identify and extract the samples that the team needs. He is played by Jonathan Bailey, whom you last recognize from the movie pass of “Wicked.” He is also known for starring in “Bridgeton”, “colleague travelers” and more.
Duncan Kincaid (Maharshala Ali)
Duncan is an old friend and colleague of Zoras and captains the ship who takes them to the island. He is played by twice Oscar winner Mahershala Ali, whom you know from movies such as “Moonlight”, “Green Book” and more, as well as comics including “House of Cards.”
Martin Krebs (Rupert Friend)
Martin Krebs is the big Farma guy that finances this entire operation. You can probably guess his true personality and motif. He is played by Rupert Friend, who most recently appeared in Wes Anderson’s “The Phoenician Scheme.” You may also recognize him from “a simple service”, “pride and prejudice” “Obi-Wan Kenobi” and more.
Reuben Delgado (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo)
Reuben is just a father trying to take his daughters on a trip, which gets stuck with dinosaurs in the wrong place at the wrong time. He is played by Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, who last played Mickey Haller in “The Lincoln Lawyer.” He has also been in films including “The Magnificent Seven”, “Sicario: Day of the Soledado” and more.
Teresa Delgado (Luna Blaise)
Teresa Delgado is Reuben’s oldest daughter and meets almost her end thanks to Martin, so yes, she has a Nag. She is played by Luna Blaise, which you will most recognize from her time at “Manifesto” and “Fresh off the boat.”
Isabela Delgado (Audrina Miranda)
Isabela is Reuben’s youngest daughter, who undoubtedly needs trauma therapy for the rest of her life, even though she is resistant. She is played by Audrina Miranda, who debuts with a big screen with this movie. She has previously appeared in sections of “Criminal Minds” and “Lopez vs. Lopez.”
Xavier Dobbs (David Iacono)
Xavier is Teresa’s boyfriend, who is a very self -conscious lazy man, but when it comes to it he will make the victim. He has been brought to life by David Iacono, who has been in several hits including “The Summer in Turn Pretty” and “Air hostess.”
