The latest post in the “Karate Kid” franchise gives back familiar faces and introduces new ones.
“Karate Kid: Legends” drops in theaters on Friday 30 May and takes back both Ralph Macchio as Daniel Larusso and Jackie Chan as Mr. He who cooperates to train a young grandchild in an upcoming tournament in New York. The official synopsis reads:
“After Kung Fu Prigy Li Fong moves to New York City, he attracts unwanted attention from a local karate champion and begins a journey to participate in the ultimate karate competition with the help of Mr. He and Daniel Larusso.”

Ralph Macchio as Daniel Larusso
Ralph Macchio plays Daniel Larusso in “Karate Kid: Legends.”
Macchio has had the fruits of the franchise “karate kid”. He last packaged the sixth and last season of “Cobra Kai” on Netflix – who explored older versions of both his “Karate Kid” character and William Zabkas Johnny Lawrence. He has also appeared in “The Outsiders” and also recently in “The Deuce” and “Kevin can wait.”
Jackie Chan as Mr. He
Jackie Chan recalls his role as he in “Karate Kid: Legends.”
Chan has had a famous career. He is best known for 1985’s “Police Story”, “Rush Hour” franchise and “Who am I?” He also expresses Monkey in the franchise “Kung Fu Panda”.
Ben Wang as Li Fong
Ben Wang plays Li Fong in “Karate Kid: Legends.”
Wang’s first major role before “Karate Kid: Legends” was in the Disney+ series “American Born Chinese.” He has Big Project comes around the corner but including Stephen King adaptation “The long walk” and in “The hunger games: Sunrise on the reing” as wyatt callow.
Joshua Jackson as Victor Lipani
Joshua Jackson plays Victor in “Karate Kid: Legends.”
Jackson just wrapped the first season of his latest show “Doctor Odyssey.” He is also known for roles in “Dawson’s Creek”, “Fringe”, “The Mighty Ducks” franchise and “The Affair.”
Ming-na wen as Dr. Fong
Ming-na plays Li’s mother, Dr. Fong, in “Karate Kid: Legends.”
Wen’s most famous roles including expressing the mule in the animated Disney movie, Playing Agent Melinda May in Marvel’s “Agents of Shield” and played Chun-Li in the 1990s “Street Fighter” adaptation. More recently, she appeared in “The Mandalorian”, “The Book of Boba Fat” and “The Bad Batch” as Fennec Shand.
Shaunette Renée Wilson
Shaunette Renée Wilson plays MS Morgan in “Karate Kid: Legends.”
Wilson is best known for playing my okafor in “The inhabitants” from 2018-2021. She has also appeared in “Black Panther” and “billions”.
