Lionsgate cranes Brad Haugen to lead digital strategy


Lionsgate has exploited the former Westbrook media manager Brad Haugen to lead the studio’s digital strategy.

As the studio’s CEO of digital strategy and growth, Haugen will be responsible for the tip of its original content creation for digital platforms, brand partnerships and other stories initiatives in the digital space.

He will also be commissioned to help Lionsgate continue to expand the original brand content and advertising, as well as make money from the more than 20,000 titles in his film and TV library for collaborations with digital platforms such as Youtube, Snap, Pinterest, Meta and Tiktok. In addition, he will collaborate with 3 art managers to bring his customers new brand opportunities and grow their companies in the digital world.

Haugen has previously created premium content for platforms that range from Meta and Youtube to Snapchat and X in collaboration with artists including Will Smith, Jada Pinkett-Smith, Justin Bieber, Ryan Reynolds, Megan Thee Stallion and others.

As president of Westbrook Media, he led the company’s digital content department and monitored the card and middle of the form of content, digital brand management and best production. He launched over a dozen original card form series on Snapchat, Meta and Youtube and worked on Premium Mid and Long-Formed Content ranging from “Red Table Talk” at Meta and Iheart to “Fresh Prince Reunion Special” at Max.

Before that, he worked with ATTN founder Matthew Segal and Jarrett Moreno and produced branded content published more than a dozen social channels in collaboration with Netflix, Spotify, HBO, Microsoft, GE, Adobe, T-Mobile and many others. He was also the first chief marketer for Scooter Braun Projects, where he and Braun led marketing and business initiatives for Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Tori Kelly, PSY, Martin Garrix and Carly Rae Jepsen.
