Producer Metro Boomin has announced His new mixtape “A futuristic sum” will be released on July 22.
St. The Louis-in-born has been teasing the DJ-spinz-hosted project since earlier this month and released the single “Slide” with Roscoe Dash on July 4. Mixtape is rumored to have 20 tracks with a “brand new role” of features outside his usual collaborations, according to July 4. Metroboomin on X.
“A Futuristic sum” arrives after a red hot year for Metro, which released a couple of album “We do not trust you” and “We still do not trust you”-with the future, both within a month in succession last year. The information debuted on top of Billboard 200 at publication and the previously created single “Like That”, which debuted at No. 1 on Hot 100 and started an ongoing beef between Kendrick Lamar and Drake. Earlier this year, Metro and Future received five nominations from Grammy, but did not stop winning in any of the categories.
Fans predicted Metro’s collaboration project with Jid last year, although it has not yet been materialized. Earlier this year, Jid gave an update of the album and told Complex that it is still an ongoing work.
“When work is there, you see. You know exactly what it is,” he told the publication. “I won’t tease and say” Hi, “No, this is it. I promise when it is presented, you will understand exactly what it is. It won’t be so much of a mystery around it.”
