Michael Fassbender said that a series of quirky events under audition for George Miller’s Hit Action Sci-Fi movie “Mad Max: Fury Road” led to an “incredible” experience.
“It was one of the worst auditions, the latest auditions … I mean, recently,” said Fassbender while showing up on Thursday’s episode of Josh Horowitz’s “Happy Sad Confused” podcast. Values cut in saying that the audition must be at least 12 years ago.
“Thankfully, I have not had to try for a while,” Fassbender joined joking.

“X -Men: First Class” actor then went on to explain that the chaotic endeavor began when he got lost on Warner Bros. Lot.
“Oh my God, it was horrible. First and foremost it was before … you know, I always think in some way, I can get rid of my phone, my smartphone, ”Fassbender said. “And I think, for one reason I need Google Maps, it’s like, my direction is terrible, so bad that as, if my intuition says go right, I go the opposite path. So I was going to Warner Bros. in the valley, not complicated. I had those prints on the seat next to me in the car, you know, “turn left here” or whatever, and I got lost. I ended up coming to the audition almost like an hour late, so I wasn’t in the right main space … but I came and I was like: “I’m so sorry.” And they were like “good.”
His next obstacle was to use an actor Miller was commissioned to guide his opportunities for the film.
“And then George Miller has this actor and it was so incredible. It was so incredible. I have been classically trained, so I have my process, obviously, there is a goal that the character has and activities that I will play to get it. So I felt you teach your grandmother how to suck eggs here, ”explained Fassbender. “This guy really got my nerves. And he was like, “I want you to say this phrase, get out of the room, but I want you to physical, Michael. Get out of the room, get out of the room.” So I was like, “Get out of the room, get out of the room.” He was like “What do you?” And I was like, “I made it out of the room and physically.”
At the end of that, Fassbender said he was literally ready to get out of the room.
“It was so, I couldn’t wait to get out of there. So obviously I didn’t get the part, ”said Fassbender. “Of course Tom Hardy got the part and deserves it.”
Under one Interview with VultureMiller said his “Mad Max” franchise will not end with “Furiosa.” In fact, he has already received a new script, even though he plans to put it in the back pocket for now.
“We have another script,” Miller said when asked if he would still make another “Mad Max” movie. “But after doing so long where I am used to stories, I find myself with too many stories – not only in my head, but in the form of script or at least very detailed notes that are within reach of the script. I’m a professional daydreamer, really … so there are lots of stories. One of them is actually a Mad Max. It’s not something I would do next. “
