Miley Cyrus continues the rollout For his upcoming album “Something Beautiful” with the publication of her new single “End of the World”, along with a sultry music video.
Cyrus is a silhouette that dances in front of the band before a close -up has her knob on the ground in a green sequin dress. Seen through a cuddly filter, she sings “Let’s pretend that it is not the end of the world” in the song that also refers to party like Paul McCartney and drives out to Malibu for one last time. “Show me how you would hold me if tomorrow wouldn’t come for sure,” she sings.
In March, Cyrus announced his upcoming visual album “Something Beautiful” and released May 30. Her ninth album is scheduled to include 13 original tracks and is executive produced by Cyrus and Shawn Everett, who previously worked with Alabama Shakes and Kacey Musgraves. Although a little is known about the record at large, Cyrus said before that it is inspired by Pink Floyd’s “The Wall.”
“My idea was to do” The Wall “, but with a better wardrobe and more glamorous and filled with pop culture,” she told Harper’s Bazaar In November, which describes the album as “hypnotizing and glamorous.” “It is a concept album that is an attempt to medicate something of a sick culture through music.”
Less than a week after announcing “something beautiful”, she lost the first two songs from “Something Beautiful”-it spoke the word “Prelude” and Rock-Meets-Soul title track. The latter received the music video treatment with explosive images directed by Cyrus, Jacob Bixenman and Brendan Walter, with film by Benoît Debie.
The album will be accompanied by a movie that will be released in June. The film is produced by Cyrus, Xyz Films and Panos Cosmatos in collaboration with Sony Music Vision, Columbia Records and Live Nation. Cyrus directs together with Bixenman and Walter.
