Miley Cyrus has announced Her upcoming visual album “Something Beautiful” releases May 30.
Although details about the record are scarce, the singer revealed that her ninth album will contain 13 original tracks and is executive produced by Cyrus and Shawn Everett, who previously worked with Kacey Musgraves and Alabama Shakes. She also revealed the album cover, shot by Glen Luchford and showed Cyrus in Archival 1997 Thierry Mugler Couture. The album is available for pre -order In various formats including signed vinyl and CDs, vinyl with limited edition and two drawers with collectibles.
Cyrus has teased “something beautiful” during the past week, with its social media accounts that changed headlines to suggest the album title and posters and signs that appear in Brazil, the Netherlands and Argentina.
The singer most recently released “Endless Summer Vacation” in March 2023 under the leadership of the single “Flowers”. That song became a massive hit for Cyrus, spent eight weeks at No. 1 on Billboard Hot 100 and broke many streaming discs. “Flowers” won Grammys last year for this year’s record and best Popsolo performance, while “Endless” was nominated for this year’s album and Best Pop Vocal album.
“Flowers” is currently at Focus of a copyright Taken Tempo Music Investments in September 2024, which accuses Cyrus of copied Bruno Mars “when I was your husband.” Tempo owns the catalog rights for “When I was your man” co -author Philip Lawrence, and last week a judge denied the request to dismiss the case and clear the way to a trial.
