Backstreet Boys member Nick Carter is facing new accusations of sexual abuse in a mood that claims that the singer raped a woman on two occasions while they were involved in a relationship in 2005.
In a civil complaint, submitted last week in Nevada and was reviewed by AmountA woman named Laura Penly accuses Carter of having forced her into sexual acts in 2004 when she was 19 and Carter was 25. She claims they had consumption sex about three times before Carter became aggressive and “dismissed” her refusal to have sex and told her that “the only reason she was there was to have sex.”
Penly claims that Carter “failed to use protection” during this change and in turn failed to prevent the spread of sexually transmitted infections including HPV. She claims that these measures caused her to suffer from cervical cancer later in life.
Elsewhere in the complaint, Penly Carter claims her again about two months after the first instance of rape. She says he apologizes and asked to meet her again, just to isolate her in a bedroom and rape her a second time.
Lawyers for Carter did not return immediately AmountRequest for comment.
Penly’s trial is the fourth atmosphere in sexual abuse in a series of legal complaints submitted against Carter. In December 2022, Shannon Ruth filed against Carter in Clark County, Nevada, claiming he forced her to perform oral sex on him after a Backstreet Boys concert in 2001. Carter is also facing accusations from former dream singer Melissa Schuman.
