Pixar’s “Hoppers” arrives at theaters next spring but a new teaser trailer for the film, directed by Daniel Chong, has just been released. It gives you a good feeling for the movie. And you will probably giggle heartily. Look at it below.
“Hoppers” takes place in a world where a scientific group has created a technology that allows people to “jump” into robotic animals, which allows them to interact with other creatures. Mabel Tanaka (Piper Curda) voluntarily to undergo the process, and she jumps into a beaver. She gets to know the leader of the pond, a beaver named King George (Bobby Moynihan) and tries to prevent the efforts of a greedy mayor named Mayor Jerry (Jon Hamm).
The film was officially introduced at the D23 fan event in August 2024 by Pixar’s CEO Pete Docter. Last month at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, Docters showed a good bit of the movie, including a sequence so funny that it made us cry. In addition, there was a scene after credits linked to Pixar’s “Elio” which contained a small return from the movie.
Obviously, both Pixar and Disney Senior Leadership are extremely Hausse and excited by the film, and you can tell by the teaser with a large part of a full stage (the stage where Mabel saves the beaver from the bear). It is such a wonderful, charming premise, and based on everything we have seen, it has been performed perfectly.
“Hoppers” meets theaters on March 6, 2026.
