Reese Witherspoon got the shock in her life while she served jury duty during the years after “Legally Blonde.” In fact, the actress reminded him that he was mistaken for a real lawyer by his colleagues after playing a team student in the movie in her latest episode of “The Graham Norton Show.”
“Listen, I didn’t want to do jury,” split Witherspoon. “It was probably like seven years after” Legal Blonde. “I was invited to jury service and it was in Beverly Hills and I certainly thought they will not choose me … They chose me.”
Witherspoon has been detailed since the long trial and said she was there for two weeks and that the real surprise of the case came at the end of the case.
“In the end they say,” Ok, yes someone in this group must be the driver “and they are all unanimously as” her. “And I was like,” Why did you choose me? “And they were like,” You went to team school. “
As it turns out, the jury mistaken the actress for a real lawyer after depicting Elle Woods a few years earlier. Witherspoon insisted that she never went to a law school, even joking that she didn’t even end college and couldn’t really understand the confusion.

While the anecdote was full of laughter, Witherspoon also took the chance to offer a serious message about the experience and encouraged other American citizens to take the legal process more seriously.
“If you are picked up for jury, do it. To be honest, some bad things go down there, you, ”she noted. “They were like,” I think she is guilty because I didn’t like what she looked like. “And it was very worrying.”
Witherspoon played Elle Woods in two films, “Legally Blonde” 2001 and 2004’s “Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde.” The first movie became an instant classic and a long -awaited Third installment is reportedly in the works.
