Rodeo FX, whose credits include “Game of Thrones”, “Dune”, “Dune: Part two” and “Fantastic Beasts” films, has acquired Mikros animation, the studio behind “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem,” Orion and the Dark “and” Paw Patrol: The Mighhol: The Mighhi Micros were part of technicolor, which closed their doors Last month.
According to the official edition, the acquisition includes “All Micros animation operations, as well as Technicolor Canada’s equipment, as the studio’s activities continue continuously after the recent shutdown of other units in Technicolor Group.” When asked how many of the affected employees to be brought to Rodeo FX, the indication was that a “large majority” would be transferred.

Other projects Micros have helped to include Netflix “Thelma The Unicorn” and Paramount’s “Spongebob Squarepants: Sponge on the run.” As the official press release states: “With almost 300 hours of programming broadcast in over 180 countries in networks such as Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, TF1 and France TV, the Micros animation has cemented as a leading force in the animation industry.”
Among the projects that they are likely to deal with is next year’s “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem”. They are already working on the third “PAW Patrol” movie as well.
