Sean “Diddy” Combs has submitted a suggestion To exclude the explosive video that showed him violently attack his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Venturafrom his upcoming federal trial.
Lawyers for Combs entered into the proposal on Thursday and asked the court to exclude the video or, “on the alternative, to allow Mr. Combs to present evidence in a negotiation on the negotiation of the unreliability of the existing and available video proof.”
The video, which CNN released in May 2024, has been a great proof for prosecutors. Last month, Comb’s lawyers claimed that the video was edited and that the original images were destroyed, which made it unauthorized in his trade and racket.

During last month’s archiving, Comb’s lawyer claimed that CNN bought the only known copy of the surveillance films, uploaded it to free editing software and changed the video. But I make no excuses,” he said. “My behavior on that video is unforgivable. I take full responsibility for my actions in this video. They are disgusting. I was disgusted then when I did, I am disgusted now. I went and I sought professional help. I have gone to therapy, that I would rehab. I had to ask God about his mercy and grace.
Ventura is expected to testify under its own name at Comb’s trial, which is currently scheduled to begin on May 5. Combs, who is imprisoned in Brooklyn on federal allegations of racketeering and sex trading, were recently hit with an updated compensation that added two charges to the case.
