Selena Gomez Crashes ‘Spring Breakers’ IMAX screening in New York


At a New York IMAX screening of “Spring Breakers,” Selena Gomez And Benny Blanco crashed the party and said hello to hundreds of fans who showed up to look at A24’s bikini -clad Bonanza on the country’s second largest screen.

Moviegoers screamed when Gomez and Blanco made their surprising look, and one was heard and said, “Oh my God. I have to call everyone I know.”

“Hello guys,” Gomez told the audience. “Did you like one of my favorite movies ever?”

Gomez then pulled out his phone to take a selfie with the audience at AMC Lincoln Square and promised to send it to “Spring Breakers” director “Harmony (Korine) and The Girls”, citing co -stars Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Benson and Rachel Korine.

During the short visit, Gomez and Blanco previewed a club track, “Bluest Flame”, from their upcoming album “I Said I Love You First”, and sent everyone home with a USB device containing the still released song.

“The label will probably shoot us, but thank you guys,” Blanco said. When the couple left the theater, Blanco said to the audience: “Listen to that shit.”

Gomez played in Harmony Korines R-rated 2013 Crime Comedy opposite James Franco, Hudgens, Benson, Rachel Korine and Gucci Mane. Gomez was 20 years old when the film premiered at Venice the year before, and the film was largely seen as a picture shooting features for the Disney star, who led “Wizards of Waverly Place” from 2007 to 2012.
