“The Hunger Games” is on its way to the London scene.
A new adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ Landmark Young Adult Fantasy series will debut in October in Troubadour Canary Wharf Theater, a theater-in-round space specially built for an immersive grip on the author’s blockbuster 2008 novel.
The adaptation of the acclaimed book and Lionsgate movie with Jennifer Lawrence will start performances on October 20.
Conor McPherson, announced by The New York Times As the “finest” playwright for his generation adapted “The Hunger Games” in this stage exhibition. Matthew Dunster (“A Ghost Story”, “The Pillowman”) is linked to directly.
“I am proud that” The Hunger Games “is in the hands of talented playwright Conor McPherson and the director Matthew Dunster,” said the creator and author Collins. “Connor has made a fantastic adjustment, which is quite unique from the script. Both McPherson and Dunster promised that the new adaptation would be equally “exciting” and “passionate” as the book and the film also add new elements that make it unique to the live theater experience.

The “Hunger Games” franchise currently comprises four critically acclaimed novels that have sold over 100 million copies all over the world and have been translated into 52 languages. Blockbuster Film’s first payout premiered in 2012 and together has collected more than $ 3.4 billion at the checkout. Collin’s latest “Hunger Games” novel, “Sunrise on the reaping”, will hit the shelves on March 18. The book is already adapted to a large film by Lionsgate and is scheduled to be released on November 20, 2026.
