While most of the movie studios Jumps over Comic-ConThe party scene does not appear to be affected this year as SDCC’s signature parts and trademark activations are back in full force.
The best bashes that Entertainment Weekly annual Saturday Night Party and Fandom’s annual Thursday party, along with other pillars such as IGN and the Geek.
Here is Thewrap’s Guide to the Key Bashes at San Diego Comic-Con 2025, which starts Wednesday, July 23 with preview evening and continues until Sunday July 27. And yes, we will update this list as new parties and activations are announced.

Wednesday 23 July
- Paramount+ The Lodge: Paramount+ takes the lodge back to the Gas Light Quarter for its third year in a row – this time with its biggest, boldest and most immersive fan experience yet. From Wednesday, July 23 to Sunday July 27, fans can go into Interactive Takeover at Happy Does Bar. (Happy makes bar – 340 Fifth Ave, No SDCC mark required)
- McFarlane Toys SDCC VIP event: Join McFarlane Toys on the deck 655 roof site for an evening with exclusive first appearance on upcoming editions from McFarlane Toys. (20.00 – 22:30 Deck655 – 655 W Broadway, invitation only)
Thursday 24 July
- South Park Experience at SDCC: Step into the world by “South Park” with interactive photo comments, Fan Favor’s sections and behind the scenes, exclusive giveaways, merch, cosplay competitions, trivia, karaoke and more. (21.00 – 23.00 Quartyard – 1301 Market ST.)
- FX’s “Alien: Earth” The Wreckage Activation: The guests are encouraged to explore the mysterious debris of USCS Maginot to discover new details from the long -awaited upcoming series from creator Noah Hawley, inspired by the acclaimed feature film franchise. Experience will contain different interactive tensions and have never seen foreign copies before. Guests can visit “The Wreckage” during the day to explore new areas in USCS Maginot or Brave a scary mission on “The Wreckage: Code Red” when the sun goes down. (11.00 – 16.00 Hilton Bayfront Lawn – 1 Park Blvd.)
- Peacock “Twisted Metal” bumper activation: Fans will enter a post-apocalyptic world filled with bumper-to-bumper chaos on peacocks “Twisted metal” bumper. As a tribute to the twisted metal tournament at the forefront of season two, the fans will be able to choose their ride, with the show’s most iconic vehicles which are converted as bumper, and participate in their own version of Calypso-Hosted Derby. In addition to the bumper car experience, fans can expect Epic Photo Ops, a show of some of the tournament cars found in the series, surprise and joy moment and pandemonium around each corner. - HBO MAX & DC Studios “Peacefest” experience: “Peacefest” is a three-day fan experience that starts Thursday, July 24 to celebrate the return of “Peacemaker” from DC Studios. Inspired by the show’s chaotic glam rock-life world, the engrossing event will contain live musical performances, interactive character theme booths and games, including Harcourts KO-corner, Vigilante’s hero S* Merch shop, Adebayo’s heroic Poto and Economos’ Ops Mortal Kombat Station, together, together with (Nova SD Club – 454 Sixth Ave.)
- The one by Geek, Nerdist, Geek & Sundry and OP Games for “Party Game Party”: The perfect way to start your weekend with congress adventures! Enjoy light pieces, drinks, swag and laugh at this free event when OP celebrates over 30 years by doing the most bodily party games in the world-and becoming practical with classics and brand new hits in Ultimate Gaming Extravaganza! - Fandom Eighth annual party presented by Universal Orlando Resort and Code Vein II: Get an insight into the Universal Epic Universe and enjoy customized interactions with the five extraordinary worlds within the brand new theme park: Celestial Park, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter-Ministry of Magic, Super Nintendo World, How to train your Dragon-Isle of Berk and Dark Univers Travers over a post-apocalyptic world and exceeds time to reshape the past in Bandai Namco’s upcoming action RPG “Code Vein II.” The guests will enter this haunting universe with a special photo operation with a lifestyle of the I-game Fordon’s motorcycle form. - IGN SDCC Party presented by “One Piece” “ IGN SDCC 2025 After a party presented by “One Piece” will take place on Friday 25 July on the roof of San Diego Hard Rock Hotel. The event will be 21+ and has a live -DJ, trading card distributions, photoops, performances of a piece of mascot and a special guest look by Colleen Clinkenbeard, Monkey’s English voice. Saturday 26 July
- Entertainment every week: Entertainment Weekly’s Closing Night Bash will return this year for Comic-Con 2025. Con’s Hottest Ticket and the most expected party this weekend will take place at Float at the Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego with presenting Sponsor Starz and songs from DJ Michelle Pesce.
