Gea Live, in conjunction with Lionsgate, has announced a 60-city national tour in the first “Twilight” in a concert in the United States. The tour starts with a preview in Spokane, Wash. September 12 and opens on “National Twilighters Day” in Seattle on September 13.
When the novel “Twilight” celebrates its 20th anniversary, the live-to-film experience with the original film together with a 12-part ensemble of rock and orchestral musicians on stage comes to take the audience into the heart of romantic history.
Tickets for “Twilight” in a concert are sold Friday. “Twilight” in a concert lets the audience relive the movie that started everything in a movie experience accompanied by a live band. Musicians will take the stage to perform the film points in synchronization with the original film, presented in its entirety on large bio screens. More than 1,000 flashing lights will illuminate the stage.
The story “Twilight” is one of the most successful young adult movie franchisees of all time. The five films (“Twilight”, “The Twilight Saga: New Moon”, “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” and “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Parts 1 & 2”) has collected more than $ 3.3 billion at the global cash register.
The films were adapted from the “Twilight” creator Stephenie Meyer’s acclaimed series of books that won several awards, sold over 160 million copies all over the world and translated into 49 different languages. Lionsgate’s TV adaptation of Stephenie Meyer’s novel “Midnight Sun” has been picked up to series on Netflix.
