“Los Angeles is known as City of Dreams. And surely enough, all my dreams have come true here.” Crackling. It was at that moment that Jessica Williams might have taken that dream completely.
When the actor participated in a scriptful opening segment at the 2025 SAG Award on February 23, her “shrinking” Costar Harrison Ford chomped away at a chip of some kind. Yes, directly in the shot just behind Williams, who then became a villain from teleprompt: “I told him to turn away!” While he suppressed giggles, Williams added, “Don’t look!” Ford then turned his chair and seemed to appear to be his bit as the segment continued. It’s showbiz, baby.
While the now Viral Award Show moment ended with the costs laughing it out and playfully knocked each other, we as viewers had many remaining questions. Namely, what the hell could have been so good that Ford simply couldn’t stop snacks for the whole 50-second segment?
As it turns out, honey butter chips.
The menu at this year’s Sag Awards was designed by chef David Chang and Momofuku. The honey butter chips in question were left in bowls on each table, while the plated food consisted of Momofukus signature cold fried chicken, a salmon and vegetable kimbap -duo and pickled vegetables. Later in the evening, pizza from Pizzeria Bianco also passed. The wine paving included white and red mixtures made in collaboration with Cooper’s Hawk, a vineyard and restaurant with places throughout the country.

Just like them Restorate gift bagsThe Award Show menus are always things of intrigue, especially since the food so often seems untouched. (So we don’t forget prepared Grammy’s Charcuterie boards It was so sadly neglected.) So in a way it was refreshing to see a participant so happily enjoy the food that was carefully planned and prepared. . . Although the time left a little to be desired.
And really, we should thank the golden brown honey butter! It gave us the kind of sincere, off-the-captering moment that the award shows (and, yes, memes) is made of. After all, there are no small parts.
