Where can you stream the “Fantastic Four” movies?

Although they were some of Marvel’s most popular characters, it took almost two decades for the MCU to bring Fantastic Four in the fold. Like the X-Men, Fantastic Four remained under the Fox umbrella from the 21st century, with Marvel Studios that could not adapt the superhero team or any of their primary characters. This changed when Disney acquired Fox 2019.

Now that Disney owns the superhero quartet, those who want to stream can find their films in one place.

  • “Fantastic Four” (2005) – Disney+
  • “Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer” (2007) – Disney+
  • “Fantastic Four” (2015) – Disney+
  • “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” (2025) – on the way to theaters first, but this one will eventually stream on Disney+

All movies are also available for digital and physical rent and purchases.

What is the second “Fantastic Four” movie?

In an attempt to maintain cinematic rights to Marvel’s first family, producer Bernd Eichinger collaborated with legendary “Pope of Pop Cinema” Roger Corman to create a “Fantastic Four” movie in the early 90s. Oley Sassone directed “The Fantastic Four” with a script by Craig J. Nevius and Kevin Rock, although the movie was never released (according to Stan Lee, among others, the movie was never intended to be released in the first place).

“The Fantastic Four” remains unreleased to this day, but copies of the movie have been in circulation for several years and you don’t have to look too hard to find one of these copies online.

What is the “Fantastic Four” movies about?

“The Fantastic Four” (1994) and “Fantastic Four” (2005)

Both 1994’s unreleased “The Fantastic Four” and 2005’s “Fantastic Four” follow the same general installation for the team: A team of four researchers/adventurers/explorers bets out in space and is bombarded with cosmic rays that give them life -changing forces. At about the same time, they conflict with Victor von Doom, also known as Doctor Doom. In the series, Doom has a brilliant intellect, a country under his rule and a magician’s forces. A metal mask hides its powerful scar.

2005’s “Fantastic Four” (directed by Tim Story) takes Doom away from Latveria and makes him CEO of von Doom Industries. In the movie Victor (Julian McMahon) continues with the space flight with Reed (ioan Gruffudd), Sue (Jessica Alba), Ben (Michael Chiklis) and Johnny (Chris Evans), leaving him with his own power. After being exposed to the cosmic rays, Victor begins to develop a metal skin and the power to manipulate electricity. The first entry of history places great emphasis on Ben Grimm, who is struggling with his transformation into the matter, as well as coach Reed Richards.

“Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer” (2017)

So far, 2005’s “Fantastic Four” will remain the only movie with the team to get a sequel. (The Stars of “The First Steps” Are Confirmed To Return in “Avengers: Doomsday,” But there’s no “Fantastic Four” Specific Sequel on the Books as of this publishing.) 2007’s “Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer” See’s The Four Come IntoT WITH THE FOUR. Giant Space Cloud) and His Herald, The Silver Surfer (Portrayed Physically by Doug Jones and Vocally by Laurence Fishburne).

Like “The Fantastic Four: First Steps”, “Rise of the Silver Surfer” deducts vigorously from the Galactus trilogy (“Fantastic Four #48-50”) by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. Chris Evans’ Johnny Storm takes a greater point of contact in this sequel, with its character that develops the ability to change power with his teammates. This leads to one last fight, which makes Johnny with a mix of all four abilities-unlike the classic Fantastic Four Villain Super-Scream.

“Fantastic Four” (2015)

The franchise started in 2015 with Josh Tranks “Fantastic Four” (spelled in marketing as “Fant4stic”). This film adapts the team’s Ultimate Universe series magazine and causes them to have their powers during a trip to the negative zone rather than a space caps. Victor von Doom (Toby Kebbell) again forgets his traditional properties and replaces his metal mask with a space suit melted against the skin and his magical abilities of telekinesis. Like the first film of history, “Fantastic Four” focuses largely on Reed Richards (Miles Teller) and his relationship with Ben Grimm (Jamie Bell). Michael B. Jordan and Kate Mara play as Johnny and Sue Storm.

What is “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” about?

Matt Shakman’s new film places the team in an alternative universe – one where they have already been fantastic Four for (you guessed it) four years. The film again adapts the Galactus trilogy, this time with Julia Garner like Silver Surfer Shala-Bal. In the series, Shala-Bal is lovers of the traditional silver surgery, Norrin Radd.

Instead of portraying Galactus as a cloud like “Rise of the Silver Surfer”, Ralph Ineson plays a comic-excellent version of the cosmic creature in “First steps.” He is a giant, wandering man in purple tools with a strange helmet. Shakman also introduces Franklin Richards to the mix, the child to Reed and Sue who eventually develop their own power and in the film become an interest in Galactus.

This will also be the first “Fantastic Four” movie that does not present Doctor Doom as a primary antagonist. Doom will soon be the villain in “Avengers: Doomsday” and “Avengers: Secret Wars”, played by Robert Downey Jr.

Will “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” stream?

Not yet! The film will be released exclusively in theaters on July 25. As a MCU project, “First Steps” will probably soon join the other “Fantastic Four” movies on Disney+, but no date has been given yet.

“Captain America: Brave New World”, released in February, is currently streaming on Disney+. “Thunderbolts*”, which came out in May, is not yet.
