Sadie sink has been cast Starting opposite Tom Holland in “Spider-Man 4” -But who could she play?
Sink is the first major actor to join the project and her announcement led to a lot of speculation about who she could play in the Marvel follower, who will be directed by Destin Daniel Cretton (“Shang-Chi”) and will start filming this year.
The star “Stranger Things” has been at the top of the fans’ wish list for a certain Phoenix-driven X-man for several years now, but it is far from the only option for the actress.
Below are three of the best opportunities for SINK to play in the upcoming MCU follower and how she could possibly be integrated.
Jeangrå
Sadie Sink has been the fan favorite choice to play Jean Gray since the X-Men movie rights shifted back to Marvel when Disney bought Fox. With Peter on his way into his college years, it is certainly possible that Jean-who was a founding member of Charles Xaviers X-Men when they were young-can be a classmate or someone he grows close after losing both down (Jacob Batalon) and MJ (Zenday And bringing the X-Men into MCU is a priority for Marvel Manager Honcho Kevin Feige.
Mary Jane Watson
This one feels unlikely because of the unnecessary confusion it would achieve. Some fans believe she has been cast as Spider-Man’s iconic love interest Mary Jane Watson. In the world after “Endgame”, no one should put any main decisions past the MCU brain but with Zendaya’s character not canonically Mary Jane but is called MJ, it would certainly be an odd choice. But maybe Peter just chases a coal copy (clone?) Of what he lost.
Gwen Stacy
SINK does not have to be TypeCast as an iconic red head just because of its own hair color. If Zendaya’s MJ represents half of Peter’s love life, Gwen Stacy represents the other. Gwen’s popularity has been skyrocketed for the past five years thanks to the “Spider-Verse” films-where she is expressed by colleague MCU star Hailee Steinfeld. She appeared in live action back in the two “Amazing Spider-Man” films in the 2010s played by Emma Stone, and formerly Bryce Dallas Howard portrayed the character in Sam Raimi’s “Spider-Man 3.”
Gwen is also very meaningful to show up in Peter’s “College” year where MJ represented his high school years.
